Intro to Watercolour Painting

Take your first steps (and brushstrokes!) into the delicate world of watercolour painting! Here, you can paint from a place of joy and growth, and gain confidence as you learn the basic techniques of the medium, preferred supplies, and tips and tricks to make your future pieces truly shine!

This two-hour course will be guided by local artist and Siding 14 Gallery owner Challen Gladman. Challen (they/them) is an artist living and working in Ponoka, Alberta, with a passion not only for painting, but also for writing (both novels and comics!), bookbinding, pottery, and traditional and digital art (among so many other things they're still excited to try for the first time!).
